It's stuck in my intake filter

Turn off flow. Is it attached to the area? If not move it leave flow off for 30-60 min put it where you want it. If it likes the spot and is healthy it will attach.

In my intake filter been there for Max 20 minutes before I turned the filter off...

It's not attached..a big chunk of it is still through the vents and is just hanging there

How much of the nem is on the inside the grate? Its good obviously but it could be stuck much worse

Like everyone said turn off the flow and gently try to persuade it though the grate.

If you have a small powerhead place it inside your return pointing at the nem

If it is healthy it will move if you poke that part of it. just rub it with your finger to get it to retract then put it where you want it and give it time to attach. Welcome the the wonderful world of nems!

It could be much worse. Best case would be to hit it with flow the reverse way of what it went in. If it was me or I didnt have a small enough power head i would gently pull it away/ push it out through the grate

I've tried to to persuade it back through..its not having it...he's all relaxed and hanging,when I touch him he tenses up and it being impossible to move..I've been tickling his foot and not going anywhere..its been about 40 minutes..
