I was drilling my Red Sea Reefer 250's ATO reservoir to convert it into a refugium. Well, drilling didn't go to plan and I cracked the tank (see pictures). I'm wondering if I can seal the crack with silicone. My thought is the reservoir is only 2 gallons, so there's not a lot of pressure from the water and just silicone to seal it will be sufficient. Thoughts?

That looks like it wouldn't be that hard to replace that piece of glass. I think I would try that first. If you have a glass shop near by they could probably even drill it for you.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
