Hello all question for you

My water level in my tank looks QUITE high particularly in my return chamber. I just conducted a 20% water change and added 20% of water back in and my AIO back chamber looks quite full. The water is passed every baffle. I am wondering is this okay? for the water level to be passed the baffles?

Also I removed and added the same amount of water so I am quite confused on why it is so much higher! I used buckets to manually measure things out.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

@StrainedSky

Thank you should I take some out from the display tank or the AIO chamber also do you know how much I should be taking out? Should it be until the water just flowings into the return vs just sitting on top

The water level in the chamber should be below the baffles.

I would also check your filtration... If you're using filter floss, as that clogs up, your display will fill up quicker... You want the water to be able to drop between levels etc. The display level should be just high enough to enter the back chambers through the vents (if they're on top)

Do you have an auto top off that started running when you removed water?

I have an ATO but I unplugged it during the water change. I guess maybe I overfilled each one of my 5 gallon buckets I guess its kind of hard to tell the max on a 5 gallon home depot bucket.
