I got my ghost candy bubble tip about 3 weeks ago. First days were great and seemed fine, but then it moved under a rock and away from the light. It was harder for me to feed it there but I still tried. Since then it only got worse, it got to the point where I was going to move it to a container in the tank to keep a closer eye and try feeding. It came off its rock very easily and has been sitting in the container (in my tank, with lighting) for a couple days. Does not accept food and looks like its about to die. Any suggestions?

Picture doesn’t come through. Is its mouth gaping open? And if you remove the container you have it in smell it. Dose it smell really really bad?

First, Stop trying to force feed. You really don't need to feed the anemone. If you do feed, once a week is more than enough.

Second, you shouldn't move your nem at all. Especially because you want to feed it. Your nem moved to that spot for a reason. Could be flow, could be light, could be your parameters.

What are your parameters? How long has your tank been running?

Shouldn't be feeding until it's settled in and even then as mentioned it's not required.

There’s no smell, here’s a better picture

I’ve stopped trying to feed a few days ago but it seems like it’s gotten worse since then. When it was under the rock it seemed fine but then it moved to another spot under the rock and it wasn’t happy there. It was very small and was falling off of the rock that it was attached to

Do you have a picture of this nem when it was new and healthy? Were you sold a bleached bta given the name "ghost candy"?

I haven’t even thought about that, I’m mad at myself for not taking any pictures when I got it. Here are some I found online, it looked very similar to these

Whats fine? 99% of the time when some says their parameters are fine and never post what the parameters are, usually its not fine.
And again how long has the tank been running?
phosphates about 2.0
nitrates 5.0
(gradually working on getting them down)
calcium is 420

the tank has been running for several years now, probably 5ish

Chances are you probably got one that was already in decline and the move maybe finished it. IMO leave it be and just watch what it does. Seems bleached but that could be its colors
