Hammer coral not opening and showing skeleton. What would cause this? Found my salinity was low at 1.20 so I made the proper adjustments to 1.26
My cal was at 300 buffed it to 400 ph is a little low 7.8

0 nitrate, 0 phosphate, both of which are crucial to the corals (at least some required in our tanks unless the corals are consistently fed), and a pH that is very low are all possible causes of unhealthy coral. Consider feeding more or using some sort of coral food. I would also consider something like brs soda ash for alk supplementing (it can help with pH) if you do currently dose alk. What kind of tank do you have (all in one, sump, etc)?
