Ok, so first off let me start by saying I am two years into this hobby. I have lost over $1000.00 in fish in the last year. First loss, was our fault, during a tank upgrade we placed some fish into a bucket (only used for the tank) and unfortunately there was too much salt residue which killed them. Lesson learned.

Most recently we purchased a coral (attached to a branch) and a yellow eyed kolh tang, one of which had crytocaryon. Within a month of purchasing has killed the remaining 10 fish in my tank. (NO QT tank... I know, I know). As of this point I have a Cleaner Wrasse left in my tank, shrimp, crabs, snails and coral. Where do I go from here? I know it has to lay fallow but not sure what else I need to do before we "attempt" fish again. I have a UV sterilizer being shipped to my house. (I guess we have been lucky to this point as we have never used a QT tank or UV sterilizer and have had extremely healthy and happy fish) UUUGGGHHHH!!!! Any suggestions are welcomed.

You need to get the Cleaner Wrasse and any other fish out, and QT/treat for one month with copper (or alternatively, Chloroquine phosphate). Based on the timeline and number of losses, I highly suspect your fish succumbed to Marine velvet disease (Amyloodinium) - not Crypto. Below are a couple of links to aid you with your treatment plan.

Leave the DT fallow for 72 days (just to play it safe) and moving forward, QT all future livestock purchases. This guide will help: https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/fish-disease-treatment-diagnosis/189815-how-quarantine.html
