Hi guys could you help I’d this algae please. Kinda looks like chaeto to me but I’m sure it’s not.

Green hair algae we all get it and is a sign your tank has to much of something, weather it be light nutrients or nitrates it’s a nightmare removing it.!!!

Hair algae is is softer and more fluffy isn’t it ? This is the same texture a chaeto.
