I have 2 new things pop up in my tank today that I can't identify. If anyone can help out, and let me know if I should be concern with any of it would be great.

First, I noticed some white tenticle thing sticking out of the side (possibly even under it) of my Rainbow Ricordea. Any idea what this is. All I can think of is some kind of tube worm or something?

Secondly, I noticed a bunch of new algae I've never seen before growing in my tank. It looks and feels almost like grass clippings. In my research I haven't found any pictures of anything that quite looks like it? I scrapped a little off a rock and put it on a plate for a better view of it out of water.
