What do you guys think this is? I noticed it attached to some live rock I got a few weeks ago. Not sure if its majano?

Sprinkle some fine food onto it with the pumps off, see how it reacts (maybe get a pic if it reacts), looks like a mushroom to me.

Ok will do najer. And no it does'nt really look like the star polyp now that I compare the two. Mine has almost clear to brownish color tenticals with green tips. Iv seen at night it closes up similar to a clam sometimes. Iv never tried to feed it. Ill give that a wirl and see if I can get some better pics.

With the clown liking it I've never seen clowns attracted to mushrooms. Kinda acts like a small carpet anomie to me but that's just from what I see and my very limited experience in reef keeping. If you don't want it send it to me in fl lol. Good luck

Clowns will host almost anything that will allow it. Ive seen clowns in mushroom,torch corals, and obviously anemone
