So I have been deciding whether to move to my zoa garden ( or futur garden ). They have been growing nicely we’re I had them before and had nice colors but I was worried about the light intensity. I’ll post two pictures of two different location, the first is the original location and the second is the new location. Tell me what looks like the best place to grow zoas or just looks good overall. I do not know about the par reading because I have never taken them. Should I leave the zoas where they were, or move them to a new spot. That haven’t been in the new spot to long enough to show any positive or negative effects. Also I’m divided because I like the new location but the mushrooms are growing nicely in the original and I like the idea of a zoa garden mixed with mushrooms.

I like zoas where I can take pictures might be why all mine are on frag racks still ;Hilarious

put them where YOU ARE happy .

you can put them in the sand on a rock just don’t glue them down right away make sure they are happy first and once you know they are happy glue away! (You could just glue them down as superglue isn’t that super)

Alright thanks, I may leave them in the new spot, I always thought that zoas need to be on a flat rock to grow, but recently I found out that they grow fine on an angle

Zoas can grow in pretty much any direction including down. That being said, its best to avoid putting them on a plinth or taller projection because it is going to take longer to fill in and will be more difficult for them to grow downwards before spreading out. .
