Hello everyone,
I’ve got a ~50 gallon corner tank, currently set up with mostly softies and LPS. Currently I have the following fish:
1x clownfish
1x royal gramma
1x watchman goby
1x Tomini tang
1x Adorned wrasse
System has a 75 DIY gallon sump tank in the basement.
I’d like to add one final fish. What are your thoughts about selecting one of these:
Canary Blenny
Midas Blenny
Algae blenny
Hectors Goby?

Thanks in advance

you could also do another clown, i love hectors and jester gobies! P.S, the tomini might need to be rehoused later in its life

Of your choices I like the Midas or canary blenny.
If you have algae and looking for a solution the algae blenny is what Id go for though plus I like that the algae blenny spend more time on the sand and rock and that would give you more diversity in swim patterns. If you have a lot of rocks at the base of your tank and your rocks are stable to the bottom of the tank I would consider a young engineer goby. We had one in our last tank and I loved how it looked like an eel but it will borrow and if your rocks are not set stable on to the bottom of the tank then they may move. Also I got my last one in a 46 gallon tank and he did great for a year or two before I upgraded to a 125 anyway.

The canary is venomous, so maybe a difficult one to move to a larger tank when you upgrade. I would probably get a second clown for your current one, maybe a juvenile. They really are happiest in pairs. Maybe a yellow clown goby if you want more yellow/orange? They're quite small but awfully adorable. Also, I don't know what you have for inverts, but I love the flame hawkfish. Definitely not as peaceful and quiet as the clown goby, but a beautiful vivid color and so funny to watch. They always make me laugh.
