Help me stock my 29 long!

I'm having a heck of a time deciding on fish this time around. I wound up with two blue yellow-tail damsels as the first fish (kids picked those instead of snowflake clowns #!$#%#!%). I know that pretty much knocks out anything similiar in size/shape, and I don't particularly care for any of the reef safe wrasses, nor have the space for them. Maybe a prawn goby, but what else would be good if anything? I thought of a flame angel, but not sure I'll be upgrading tanks to a larger size this go aroudn (had a flame in my 29 last time, and upgraded to a 55 when he got larger) I keep a ton of rockwork and hiding spaces.. way too much for my 29 honestly. Almost all of my rockwork from the 55 is in my 29 LOL.

FYI, I plan to keep primarily chalice and SPS (Acan's and digitata) corals this time around, maybe a few other LPS, but probably only a couple (duncan, torch/hammer/frogspawn).

We have 29g and we have Clownfish, Bangaii, Lawnmower blenny and Damsel (added it last). For inverts, 2 Cleaner shrimps 1 Peppermint, 4 Nerite snails and 1 Nassarius snail. Flame Angel is on my wish list but I need a bigger tank for it =)

I've ready they're ok to keep down to a 55G, honestly.. doing it over, I probably wouldn't do it under a 70. He was fine in the 29 (got him TINY TINY :D ) But when I upgraded to the 55 and he was growing... before everything crashed I could tell he was running out of room. I leave a good bit of open and hiding spaces, but he was still cramped when he was fully grown :(. My stock last time was 2 clowns, 1 flame angel, 1 watchman goby, 1 coral banded, several CuC inverts, a peppermint shrimp, and a pistol shrimp. Going a bit more cautious on the reef safe this time since I want to do more SPS. Caught the flame nipping at my digitata before upgrading to the 55 too -.-. He sure did love eating algae off the rockwork though! :D

I had planned more snails vs crabs for this tank.. having to right a margarita this morning reminded me why I hate snails.....

Bangaii.. my wife likes those, but I'm not a fan.

Probably throw a naso tang in there. Those are pretty and a 29g is a large enough tank ;)

hah. That might take care of the damsels :P. The kids are talking "nemo fish" again.. may just break down and catch the damsels and get a pair of snowflakes.
would firefish be an ok add-on with the damsels? I had a hard time choosing between those and the watchman last time :D

Firefish work well in small tanks. Just make sure you have a good lid/top on it as they are jumpers. How about a small tail spot blenny or similiar? Also a watchman goby is kinda a bad choice as they really serve no purpose. Your better off getting an actual sand sifting goby of some sorts like a pink/blue spot or diamond. The at least clean the sand bed.

Thanks, I usually don't cover my tank, so that's one thing I'll need to consider.. lost a mandarin that way once :/.
As for the watchman (most likely was actually a yellow prawn goby), I had him paired with a pistol shrimp so they took care of sand sifting together. Surprisingly, it wasn't a rare site to see the watchman grab up sand in his mouth and sift through it like a jawfish. Hadn't thought about the other goby species too much, I'll look more into them as well! That white/orange of the diamond might make a nice addition to my colors

I had to separate the Damsel for two weeks and re-arranged LR when I added a Royal gramma
