Feeding saltwater is a different beast than feeding freshwater. For one thing, they are the PICKIEST of eaters.
Here's my livestock list:
1 pygmy flame angelfish
1 Lawnmower Blenny
1 Green Mandarin Dragonet
2 Osc Clownfish (bonded).
2 Conch, 2 Nyssarius Snails.
The Blenny is constantly grazing, and goes crazy for algae and mysis shrimp pellets... but spits them out.
The Dragonet is always hunting the copepods, making me fear i never have enough. Doesn't care for other foods despite LFS saying it's trained on frozen... so far ignores it. Although it did go after live brine shrimp.
Clown fish only eat mysis pellets but will eat frozen brine. Ignores flakes designed for them. Not eating veggies either.
Flame angel grazes and timidly eats flakes.
Conch constantly be grazing. Recently climbing the walls.
Snails. I have two. Only ever see one at a time for some reason. Crawling on the walls and sand at night. Read that if they are on walls they could be starving...
Is figuring out food a simple trial and error until you hit that sweet spot?
Any good resources to review?
Thank you
