Ok so 5ml will raise 10 gallons by 7 ppm so will 10ml raise 20 gallons by 14ppm or will it still be 7 ppm per 10 gallons. I'm asking because I have about 40 gallons total water and i dosed 20 ml and got 30 ppm(redsea) so if this makes sense 40 gallons is 28 ppm if it keeps adding on. If not then I'm lost but i do know 1ml=1.5 ppm for the future

5 mL per 10 gallons is the same as 20 mL per 40 gallons and should have increased the Ca by 7 ppm. Since you measured a 30 ppm increase, there is an error or errors somewhere. My first guess is that the variation in the measurement of Ca is a likely source of the problem. Imprecise measurement of the dose is another. And your system is less than 40 gallons is another possible error.

10mls will raise 20 gallons of water 7ppm. 10mls would raise 10 gallons of water 14ppm. If you have 40 gallons of water and you added 20mls it should have raised your calcium by 7ppm.

Pretty close . His results bothered me too
They're bothering me too lol... Help me figure out how much water i have lol I'm over here killing myself trying to figure it out. Ok so i dosed dkh half strength and got .85 dkh up. It should be 1.06 dkh increase per 10 gallons at 5ml. How many gallons do ya think i got of actual water. About 25?
