I have a gorgeous snowflake eel that I hate to get rid of, but I just checked the ammonia in the 50 I had to move my fish to and the ammonia has skyrocketed. Hopefully my LFS will agree to take him in trade for some Bio-Spira or similar, but in case they won't I'm checking here. Please help!! I have only enough salt left for one 5g change and I'm really scared as the test is quite green. T-T

OK, good news, my Daddy's coming to the rescue and buying me some nitrifying bacteria. Hopefully that's enough. If it's not then I have to assume my eel is overwhelming the system and will have to be found a new home. If anyone wants him, I'm willing to sell for $45 OBO (he's big) or trade for reef stuff. Lemme know what you have.
