Help - not enough salt water!

i used to do the same (get saltwater from LFS) for first few months, then i installed an RO-Buddie, you get RO/DI water for 60$, to avoid the hassle, also for all sorts of emergency uses

I’m glad you didn’t have any losses!

We have a helpful and friendly local reefing club, bareefers.org, you might want to check out. It’s nice (and useful) to have a local community to help when needed. You have several members near you who I’m sure could have helped out directly if you already had a connection with them when you had your “uh-oh” moment. :)
