Help - Possible Snail Eating my SPS

Help identifying what looks like a small snail?

Two of my SPS corals have receding tissue. My parameters are stable but I cannot figure out the cause of the lost tissue.

I did a coral dip on both corals and this is what came off. Any ideas or help is appreciated

Those are not eating your sps. They are Collinistia snails and eat algae.

They look like Collonista.

They look like collonista snails to me, which are harmless. They might be eating algae that's growing on the exposed coral skeleton but that's about it.

I would say lack of light to those areas has caused the receding but could also be just one factor.

i thought my snails were eating my coral but the coral seem fine....they are open and don't seem to mind the snail.
