Hey all,

just started a saltwater tank a month ago. I currently have two ocellaris clownfish. However I noticed today these clear sacs all over the bottom of my tank, on the sand. Can someone please tell me what these are? Don’t have any other living eggs/bacteria/parasites etc.

It’s been about a little over a month went through a full cycle, everything was well then had to re-cycle due to ick. Ammonia is a bit on the high side due to the change in water and filters however using API ammonia lock to detoxify it every couple of days. Salinity is at 1.026. They appeared over night whatever it is I find it hard to believe eggs maybe a bacteria bloom??

Almost looks like left over food.

Are you feeding pellets? Do you have a CUC?

I would lean toward bacteria bloom. However, without better pictures, we won't be able to answer.
