So noticed these the other day while hunting Aiptasia.

I didn't eaven realize Mushroom Eating Flatworms Were a Thing. I don't see them on anything else, but could very well be on other stuff (Torches, Acans, Blastos, Zoas, Chalices, etc, etc in same tank).

Has anyone had these? I've seen a couple threads where folks are talking about them, but can't find anything with a follow up; ie: "this is what they were, and this is what killed them, and this is what I did, for this long"....

Any idea whether Planaria or Polyclad? (something else?)

I can pull out the microscope if needed for ID support. All help appreciated!

6 line wrasse take care of that quick
I had 16 or so yellow-belly damsels in the tank that these were in before, and the mushrooms seemed very happy and healthy (growing, multiplying, etc). They do not look particularly happy at the moment. I believe the damsels were actually keeping these in check prior to the current system they are in.

That being said, I always prefer eradication vs management... Any ideas on getting rid of them completely?

I have had them before on fluffy mushrooms and some other mushrooms. Right now i have them on a couple rics and on a alveopora. I am looking to get a sixline wrasse as mentioned before.
When i had them the first time on the mushrooms i gave them a bath with dip x and they virtually fell of with a little shake.

I've got a tank full of coral and 0 flatworms. 6 line keeps them gone. I don't think eradication is something you can embrace in reefing because stuff always finds it way back in so the best you do is extensive management of pests. I always prefer a natural solution versus a chemical one. Damsels eat them too as you already observed.
