Help Wanted!

I was wondering if there is a place for reef related company's to post "help wanted"? personally I am an artist with a lot of time that I would consider working for a small mom and pop or bigger reef related business instead of starting up my own "frag business" just because of the love that I have for the hobby. I can do my job anywhere and would consider moving for the rite opportunity to learn and be more hands on in the industry. So if you have a small business and are looking to hire. why not post here. maybe hire someone with a passion for this stuff and may have some usefull knowledge already!

Im also an artist. Have you considered making custom live rock sculptures? Aragocrete is a very fun medium with tons of possibilities. You could even sell it on art websites like Etsy. If I wasnt too busy playing guitar, writing, and remodeling houses I would probably try myself but man I am so busy haha.

Great idea on having a wanted ad. I have seen places that post pure aquarium related jobs before.

i love he idea of sculpting in aragocrete. my heads swimming with the possibilities already. i will be looking into his as soon as i get moved. need out of my second story condo to support a heavier aquarium and a back yard to play with messy tuff like that. thanks for the idea and the post.

very true. i cant wait to play with this idea...and yeah ....you can but ...landlords might not be o happy with aragacrete stuck in there carpets and stuck to the walls.... im just pilling up reasons i need to get moved....now if the houses in the area would co-operate and have one i like and can afford open up for me. 8)

There is a section on the ReefBuilders website that has job postings related to the hobby. I don't think many mom and pop places share their openings there, but you never know. Just go to reefbuilders.com and click the link along the top that says "jobs."
