HELP!!what to do

when ashes get into a tank?

something sparked and the power strop caught fire and the ashes got into the tank.

Probably nothing more than a water change. Shouldn't be a big problem unless a whole ton of them fell in there.

yeah during winter i had a heater come off its suction cups in my sump and came out of the water and exploded i saw next morning when i woke up and i cut off the power and diconnect my sump took it out side and drained it and gave it a good cleaning waited a day hooked a fresh filter sock when i had one and went through and blasted everything with a turkey baster and let the overflow do its thing then repeated after cleaning the sock went through again with turkey baster and did a 15% water change. may have been a little much but just gota be safe because you never know.

lol do nothing its not going to hurt anything at all, its basically like carbom right? lol idk but doesnt seem like anything to worry about at all

ok thanks im just going to do a regular water change. i just got back from the lfs to get what was damaged quoted for the insurance co
