I am looking to trade this frag, but the first question it's always, "what's the name", I can even remember where I got this a couple of years back, tia

Could it be Pearlberry? I know I bought that in the past, but I thought I lost it in a power outage last year

It's either loripes or granulosa. As for the hobby name your best bet is to try and match its color to a reputable vendors inventory. Even some of the most skilled growers have trouble telling the two apart.

I found what I was looking for, had this saved in a Power Point file I had for my iPad, had not used in a long time... I bought this frag from Mystic Corals at That Pet Place in Lancaster Fall Fragswap in 2022

The frag your holding in the first pics is not acropora nasuta.
This is RR THE VINH

This is a piece I cut off for a friend.

Your piece is in what the hobby refers to as the smoothie family.

A Loripes
A Granulosa
A Lokani
Ect.

It could for sure be RR The Vinh. It is definitely not any of the smoothies above. Have to remember acros can have wildly varying shapes from one tank to the next.

The shape of the piece never came into play in my opinion. The piece that he's holding is not the same piece as that stock photo from reefs.com. The growth tips on nasuta follow a straight symmetrical line.

I'm not saying it's 100% loripes, but I am saying 100% that it's not nasuta. It's actually not even close.
