im currently dosing my reefer 250 (65 gallon) with two part to bring up my alk and Calc. It was 6.0 and 513 and over the two week span I’ve got it to 7.0 and 550. The calculator says I’ll need 22ml a day and I’m currently at 18. I figured I would go up slowly to 22 but then I realized the calculator said don’t do it all at once. I took this as don’t just dump 22 off the bat and work up to 22. Today I was thinking maybe it’s not good to put 22 in at once even going up slowly....so what’s the case? Can I put a 22ml syringe worth all at once or should I be dosing say 11 and 11 morning and night? I’ve been dosing all 18 ml waiting an hour and doing 18ml of Calc. in the evening I plan to add a Neptune dose once I figure out my numbers by hand so I’m guessing that will do it slowly through the day but for now what’s safe?
