If your good at diy. I would open the box and check all the connections.
Also fiddle with the dimmer knobs. If gunk gets built up in them they'll fail over time.

Maybe it's bad luck reading this thread. I just lost the dimmer function on one of mine. So if you believe in bad juju don't read this thread

I just opened mine up. Scary amount of dust in there. Cleaned it up and voila the Blue dimmer channel still doesn't work. It's stuck on low. Wah wah wah wahhhhhh.

If it's not a SB reef light fixture with a warranty, your pretty much on your own.

Kgstei, how old is the unit and who made it?

It's a fine eBay viper led, about 3 yrs old. I believe that means I am up the tributary without any means of locomotion.

I guess they don't make them anymore, can't fine them. Are they like the SB and Mars units?

Very similar. The other unit I have is a Marsaqua. I'll open that one to clean it out and check to see how similar. I may just end up getting another Marsaqua as the viper and mars have somewhat different color spectrums.

As cheep as they are, once they go bad, I'll just buy some more. :)
