Is what your building the sump itself, or an insert for a sump?

If it is the sump, then yes, you need to find a way to make those edges flush. If it's an insert, then you don't even need the front panel.

It would help to let us know what has been bonded together in the pictures.
Back to side? Back to bottom? SIde to bottom? Red to back? Red to bottom?
Everything is bonded so far the sides the back and the bottom.

My dummy didn’t realize it when I was bonding it, unfortunately it is the side of the sump itself.

If the red is not bonded (it too looks too long), then I would attempt to scrape off the side panel until there is enough room to put the front on with room for the filet.
If the red is bonded and you shaved off the bottom and tried to bond the front to the bottom face, I think trying to bend the front around that big of a curve ( red looks like it sticks out more than the side) you would have a problem.
Just my ipinion.

I’m just gonna end up tossing this one and ordering some more acrylic. Thanks for all the help.
