Help with coral

My coral is looking skinny and loosing color.

Wonder what species it is and whats the best placement help I can provide.

Hello, do you have the water parameters and light settings?

I think it’s a chalice. Try moving to lower.

Dkh is around 9.5
Cal around 400
Mag around 1500

I don't want to open another thread for another coral. So can you guys tell me if this is normal? It's a war coral.

I’m afraid it is not normal since it is loosing color. Have you tried to move it up or down inside the tank?

Have you tested No3 and Po4?

It was growing fast and fine a few weeks ago, so the position shouldn't be a problem.

No nitrates or phosphates in the tank...

Those corals should be in the sand for now. Also what is your alkalinity? Chalices are the first to have issues with alkalinity.
its the first thing I check always when having an issue.

That purple one is a favia. It does look like a was coral.
