Help with HD data recovery

anybody in here familiar with data recovery on hard disc drives?
this hard drive is very important to me for it stores my daughters pictures from birth to present. videos of her being born 12 weeks premature and how she grew up to be a very healthy girl. i am trying to recover those files in this drive and i know it cost a lot to do so.
so i am asking for any help in here to see what can be done. thank you.

It happens some time when your storage media is corrupted. You can do recover your data yourself with the help of Kernel for Windows Data Recovery Software. It supports FAT and NTFS file system and recovers data from any of the storage device which has windows file system. Try demo version of the software to check the existence of your data on your hard drive after that you can save your data using full version of the software.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that the hard drive is totally shot (click of death). I am hoping that the circuit board is the culprit, i am having it cloned at the moment. If that doesn't work, i am hoping someone here knows someone or a company that can remove the wafer and transfer it to a diff hard drive. Like i mentioned this is my daughters life on this hard drive from my wife's pregnancy up to present. Too bad that the back up drive also failed. :-(

If it is dead then you need to visit either your hardware vendor or some data recovery expert who recover data manually.

That click is a real naughty word...it COULD be a head crash in which case there is a last ditch effort you could try yourself. Can you hear or feel the platters spin up? As far as companies to do it...it honestly depends on how deep your pockets go (mine are inside out) because they are PRICEY..out of range of most normal people most times.


Edit: recovery prices seem to have gone down since I last looked into it, but still pretty high for someone who is financially challenged like myself haha..

Also, what is the make and model of the drive? Firmware version would be nice if possible.

Should say on the big sticker on top.

This will surely help. I will try an send them the hard drive. I have heard that there was a high number of complaints about this hard drive.
Anyway all i remember is this is a seagate barracuda 1.5tb hard drive.

Since it's clicking, I would definitely send it to a professional before the disk encounters more damage.
