Hello!

So I am trying to calibrate my hydros doser. I have it at a rate if .5. The issues is it keeps putting out 50 ML and won’t let me enter that number in because it’s too high? I’ve entered other numbers into the calibration and it still puts out 50ML.

Which doser are you using? Some of them are fixed rate and others are selectable via the settings. If you have the Hydros doser that plugs into a Drive port, that is a fixed rate.

That’s my issue, it plugs into a drive port and is fixed rate! Thanks!

The Hydros simple doser doses 43ml a minute. So the flow rate in the pump output needs to be set to that. In the case of the simple doser you are telling the Hydros what the flow rate is of the doser. When you do the calibration the Hydros runs for 1 minute and you enter in the actual amount dosed into the Hydros app. It then takes that to calculate how long to run the doser to get the amount dosed that is required. To test the accuracy use a manual dose. The calibration will always run for one minute so it will not change unless the pump changes. There is also a minimum run time on that doser of 2.5 seconds so it will not dose amount that would require a run time under that amount. The only thing that the Hydros does with that doser is provide 12v of power for a calculated amount of time. The dosers that Hydros can control the flow rate of are their smart dosers and those are on the X10, Blenny, Minnow and Sole controllers.
