Does anyone know what this is? It's greenish brown hairy and fine. It's only on the snail shells, frag rack, and back wall where there is direct flow.

My phosphates and nitrates are high. I do have a microscope, so I'll use that. Just thought someone might know from visual. If I have dinos, it doesn't make sense, but my tank is an enigma.Im only guessing here but i’ve had the same stuff you have in every new tank i have started up, it eventually goes away by it’s own, i belive it might be some kind of bacteria or weak growth of gha, my best guess is bacteria though, dinos to be more exact.
Check your nitrate and phosphate, that stuff usually shows up when those are bottomed out or in an imbalance but thats my personal experience.

are the nutrients in an imbalance of eachother? It can break out in high nutrients systems too but i dtrobgly belive its because of in imbalance between the two
