I have a jbj ato (not nano version) that stopped working a while back and I'm trying to get it working again rather than purchase a new one. I can't get it to work at all so here's what happening. When set to either mode a or b it is the same. plug into power, pump turns on for a few seconds (no matter if sensors are in water or not), pump turns off and that's it. the only light that is lit on the controller is the power light and nothing else apart from the pump light during the few seconds it is on when plugged in.
Nothing else happens no matter what i do or how long i wait.

Any help would be much appreciated as i don't really want to buy a new one and the manual is abysmal.
Thank you!

These are the instructions that it came with:
and this is the controller
