Help with Microfauna

When I set up my tank, I plan on having a decent sized refugium with chaeto and seed the tank with copepods and phytoplankton. My question is, should I also introduce rotifers and amphipods? Or will amphipods end up turning in an eyesore when they get in the DT?

Pods ending up in the display are a good thing. Great food for many reef fish. I doubt there will be such a population as to be an issue
