been thinking of adding some new fish to my aquarium, its finally over the ugly stage and ive gotten some new corals (xenia, and a two headed hammer) and ive been thinking of adding two or three mollies into my tank.
ive seen videos of acclimating them and it seems like its a really really long process but still it seems like a really fun project to try out
im just wondering what the best species would be, the cheapest option would just to buy a whole bunch of feeder mollies for cheap and just try to acclimate some of them into saltwater while putting the rest into my other freshwater tanks, but i also wanted to try some more colerfull ones, like the gold and blacks, or the spotted mollies
just wondering which one i should try or if theres any other mollies to try, or even any other fish to try to acclimate into saltwater

I just acclimated some black mollies last night to marine conditions. Drip acclimated for a few hours then dumped them in. All are alive this AM and eating.

I recommend trying sailfin mollies. Just avoid colors that are too exotic, they probably won't withstand the full salt.
For acclimatization, I would not acclimatize them for more than 4 hours, because I have actually had more success with acclimatizations of less than 2 hours.
