I think you are having trouble with nutrient imbalance, though you need to change the water and clean your tank. Based on what I see in your tank, a hair algae is growing, and you might check your Alkalinity. If there's no improvement after adjusting your water remove it or move the coral to a better location. Thanks

Both appear to have zero fleshband - a severely sensitive state to be in. And indicator of poor overall health

It is very possible for torch to open fully and appear healthy despite no flesh band. I have several in recovery like this. They look fine. However as stated - a very sensitive state and they have zero room for any stress or issues.

No flesh band is basically open wound. Very very easy to get bacteria inside and then infection, or detritus, or even living pests like bristleworms. The fleshband is the seal that keeps this stuff out.

Likely the torch was sold in the sensitive state, then just from being transported and then put in a new tank, was all that was needed to trigger more stress and decline. I would be contacting the vendor asap, and hopefully you got pics of the flesh band area from the day you got it

Should not have been sold in this condition

This is my beautiful healthy Torch coral sample.
It is not a tank issue as other existing torch are fine. It’s normal to have some gha in tank. Issue is (currently) localized to the new torches. They were sold in - weakened state, and like that, ALMOST ANYTHING could and will make things worse

I do understand; my concern now is you should contact the store and send the image of what exactly you received. They do not supposedly sell if the coral is not healthy. I was wondering if you have a quarantine tank. I rather quarantine first before adding in your main tank, as it could have pests.

I agree with @VintageReefer these torches were not healthy to begin with and should not have been sold. There is almost no way that could have happened in 3 days at least not with healthy corals in the tank. Its possible there was some warfare from the existing torch near by not all of them "get along", but I doubt that was the case.
Do you have pics from when you added them? This is something you should always do, take pics of new live stock. I dont know who the vendor was but they should know better and possibly did and didnt care.

A healthy torch will start coming out in the first few hours of being added to the tank. Not fully, but it should start coming out and opening / extending. By day 3 it should be fully open. If it hasn’t opened by the end of the first day or next morning I would question the torches health.

Want to say - your yellow tip torch looks real nice

If you see signs of bjd/decay, remove from the system. Bjd is contagious and will infect healthy torch. Ask me how I know :(

Thanks for the comments and help all. Last night I did a big water change to try and help it out. This morning they were for sure dead. Reached out to both of the sellers today and one of them is going to replace the hellfire for me and i’m not sure about the other seller as he hasn’t gotten back to me. Thank you for the comments and tips though!

Ask seller politely to show pic of the flesh band on the replacement (or any torch in future)

Here is a torch I was buying. I asked for fleshband pic. They showed me this. I passed and asked for a different frag

Then they took pics of another one

^^ that’s what you want to see. Tissue/flesh growing over the top of the skeleton. I bought that one.

In my tank it’s grown and split and you can see the flesh band in the pic below.

That’s what you are looking for. If the seller doesn’t have any with a good noticeable flesh band, go somewhere else.
Also, request to see all sides. Sometimes the erosion starts in just one spot, and wouldn’t be noticed from just one viewing angle
