Hi guys, woke up this morning after 3 months of no issues to a floor full of water when the soft plumbing came off. Luckily nothing is dead.

So in my hurry to plumb my tank, I used the wrong fittings to connect the out line to my vectra m2. The barb that it came with does not fit the soft plumbing that comes with the water box 110.4. I believe the barb from the m2 is a 1 inch barb. Any suggestions? Should I just glue the soft plumbing onto the blue ring?

How much of a difference is there between the barb and the tubing? On my tank what I did was buy a piece of smaller nylon tubing that fit the barb, wedged it inside the larger soft tubing and then clamped that onto the barb with some thick black zip ties (I don't have access to the pump atm or I'd share an image).

If you try glueing it to the ring it probably won't remain attached for very long (leading to a similar outcome).

I was able to get a 3/4 x 1 barb adapter!
