Should i do 10hrs than? 1-10-1? Would that be better?
Maybe not right away since you are currently at a lower photo period. Maybe ramp it up a few hours over the course of a 2-3 week period.
Plus I understand you have a life schedule that you are set on. A compromise between the tanks requirements and your viewing is usually worked out .
I did a 10hr today n they seem to love it!

That I'm not sure I'm justing using preset settings on my light. But i just used chatgpt n uploaded a video of my tank! It answered alot of my questions n helped me dail in my light schedule n coral placement which is pretty neat! Will try it out tomorrow! Ill update you guys! Thanks you everyone for trying to help this noob! I appreciate all!
I'd recommend that you post your intended changes from AI here for critique before implementing. AI has a tendency to sound expert all the time, but give awful advice sometimes. In the end, you of course decide what to do. I wouldn't entrust the lives of the animals in my charge to AI at this point in time.
I only changed some of the coral placement today. Moved all ny acros to the center hotspot. Ai mentioned because of heavy blues i can't tell if its browning or pale. Its true i see some of them brown/pale losing colors. I did a 10hr lighting today. They seem to love it moved my torch down the middle. Ill share a video with you let me know what you think. Im still figuring out light schedule n flow patterns. Those are the two im having issues rn.

You want your SPS to get high light and high flow, as a rule. It would be hard to give too much of either to acros with your existing equipment. LPS don't need that much light or flow, generally. Swapping positions between the acros and torch was a good move. I'd let things stay where they are for about a week before messing with anything else. Corals sometimes react slowly to changes and don't let you know quickly if you made a mistake. If you keep changing things, you won't be able to tell what they liked or didn't like due to their delayed reaction.

Thank you so much for your insights! I appreciate you! I will not touch anything leave it for a week! I also dailed in a new lighting schedule for my tank! Assisted by chatgpt lol.

1-5-2

80% blues
30%whites for 5hr peak!

What do you think?

I will let others weigh in on minimums, but that doesn't seem like enough time at peak. My peak lasts 10 hours, but that is likely too much as I have a lot of CUC, they are always busy, and still I have more algae than I'd like. Again though, don't touch it for a week.

Hey! Excellent choice in lights! (I have two on my 32.5g aio)

Do you still need step by step instructions on how to setup your lights using the controller? Or are you okay navigating through menus now?

Now i dont know if this is correct, but in your case i may suggest you run a custom pro program. Running your whites at a low setting when you wake up should be enough to feed your fish without blasting your coral. Idk what effect this may have on algea growth, however.

This isnt an exact thing, you can change the settings to your liking. More like a starting point.

7:50 am 0% all colors

8am 15 percent whites only (you can play with this setting to what you think is right

11am 15 percent whites only (copy 8am setting)

12pm 60violet 60 blue 10 red 8 green (do whatever percent white you think looks best. I prefer a much lower percent of white like 10-20)

10pm 60 violet 60 blue 10 red 8 green (same white % as 12pm)

11pm 0% all

If you notice your corals are happy you can bump up your percentages on the violet and blue by 5-10 weekly until your happy on the 12pm and 10pm part.

Let me know if this helps, and everyone else please correct me if I'm incorrect about these settings.

So i already figured out how to set it up n what color % i should use. Chat gpt said since i have a mixed reef tank n mostly have lps and softies i shouldnt have a peak more than 5hrs. This is my settings.

7am 0%
8am blue 10%
9am blues 50% white 15%
10am - 2pm [peak hours 5hrs] blue 80% white 30%
3pm blue 40% white 10%
4pm blue 10%
5pm -8pm ramp down

Total of 8hrs lights
1-5-2

So i woke up today to look at the new light settings seems like its more white than the usual blue i have but my corals seem to love the new settings they are out full extended! I took a quick video. Oh i think one of my acro is browning or paling please let me know what i can do to save it! Should i move it up to the center of the frag mag? I just relocate it for better par for my corals. Heres the video let me know what yal think!

Thats a good question for a more experienced reef keeper. I would be very cautious with anything chat gpt tells you.

This video is after 5hrs of peak time using my new light settings. I might dail down to 25% white instead of 30%. N i was gonna do a 2hr ramp up down instead of 1hr.

Let me know what you think? With the new settings its less blue! I wanna tone down the white 5% to make it a bit more blue for my lps

Things look nice! The whites are all prefrence. I have mine super low.

Once you find something you like let it ride for a couple of weeks just to see what the corals really do. I dont think a day or two will paint a good enough picture.
