Hi guys

I have a reef octopus 150 and the pump just died.

What should I replace it with.

I’m pretty happy with the skimmer and not really looking to spend $300 on a dc variable pump

It depends on which model of Reef Octopus 150 that you have, but the Aquatrance 2000s is a replacement for the following:

"CLSC-150 (NWB-150), CLSC-150EXT (DNWB150), CLSC-2000HOB (BH-2000), CLSC-150SSS (NWB-150SSS), SRO-2000INT, DCS-150INT, Diablo XS160/Extreme

*CLSC-150int, SRO-2000int and DCS-150int no additional adapter required."

How about this one? NW 150 6530b

Look at the pump on it right now, but that should also be the Aquatrance AQ-2000s

Thanks mine is different but says 2000l/hr so I’m thinking that the one you mention is the one I need

You may or may not need an adapter, but yes, I'm pretty sure that the Aquatrance AQ-2000s is the replacement for the OTP-2000. If you do an internet search, I think that you will find this to be true.

Thanks I’ve been looking on line. If I do need an adapter I’m not sure were to find it. I see the pump on Amazon

Appreciate your help

To find the adapter (if you end up needing, it), I would start with CoralVue.
