Help with RBTA

My RBTA anenome has been like this for 2 weeks.

Hes in a bad spot to feed him and and cant get him out of there. Can he survive there? Hes not gettin a whole lot of light there and i cant feed him there.

Tank looks real new. Probably not fit for a nem just yet.

Wanted him in there first for wandering and let him get his spot. All parameters spot on. Algae scrubber cleaning water but good. Should i just let him be or try to move him?

You do not need to feed BTAs. He will move from that spot when he feels like it... Sometimes mine hides totally within a crevasse and i don't see it for months. Yours looks fine in the photo, but I agree that the tank looks very new and anemones need very stable parameters - which can be difficult to achieve when first starting a new tank with dry rock.

So you should not feed anenomes?
Seems like most people say to feed them once or twice a week.

You don't have to. They'll pick up food when you broadcast and get light. People feed to get them to grow and split, but as it acclimates you shouldn't. I took a look at your build thread, new tank but seems like you have some experience. I'd say keep things stable and lower your phosphates, .25 is high. Otherwise, your parameters looked good. Still might be hard with a BTA. I'd just leave it and it will find it's spot.

ya hopin phosphates get down soon. Already cleaned algae scrubber once so should bring nitrates and phos down shortly. hopefully not too low :confused-face:

ya exxperience with fish and easy corals. Had 3 nems and never had success keeping them and they got put in really established tanks. So went opposite this time and let him get his spot and not be bothered by anything in tank. And still not having success.:frowning-face:

He disappeared about 2 months back and hasnt been seen since. Sucks
