Help with Red sea foundation C power..

I need to know how to mix a gallon of it.. but I believe all the information that I can find is how to mix a single dose.

I see on page 11 of the booklet that came with the powder.. .. 3.5 .. but I am still confused what the units are ...

Dissolve 1 kg in 1.7 liters of water.

The whole thing weights 1kg..

so
10 ounces = 3.5 pints
20 ounces = 7 pints
so roughly 22 ounces per gallon?

If you have a 1 kg package, dissolve it in 1.7 L = 0.45 gallons.
