Help with RKE and U-Verse connection

you need to go the NET from the IP. on a windows box you can go to it via RKM-NET from a browser, because of netbios, but on a Mac you need to use the IP you assigned. LMK, I have had mine up for about 2 months and love it. check out www.reefchat.org you can setup a custom sig that polls your RKE.

if your on reefchat's sig generator here's what mine looks like.

basically go to your rss feeds page, then copy the line you want, and take out all the dashes, colons, and spaces.

lol, ok, i must have been really tired last night.

The only way i have access to it right now is through the IP. So im just accessing my network again.

Hopefully when i get home later i can sit down, and you guys can walk me through the rest.

So do i need a website or something to go to access it? i dont know why im having so much trouble following this. I usually can figure this kind of stuff out in a couple minutes....

you can register a dns name from some of the free dns sites. that way you dont need a static IP at home. if you have a static at home you can register a domain with godaddy, and point your domain to the static IP. that's what I am doing..

Just FWIW, this is the exact reason I just sold my Aquatronica today and bought an RKE. :)
