Help with Tang Please

Well just wanted to start by saying she's my fav fish and i'm wondering whats going on with her she has always been really active swims all over follows me were ever i go and now all she do is swims in the bottom corner and barely moves even when i have food she seems to have a real hard time swiming but she eats and goes back to the corner also i notice shes fat or rounder like she's bloated or something just want to see if anyone know what might be going on with her or maybe is just her time i just want to know if theres something i can do to make her get better and back to normal please let me know.

Sounds like she has internal parasites. Does she have white stringy feces?

Thanks Nana but she was dead under a rock the next day i wish this forum would help more when u really need help she was my fav and i hope she had the best 3 years ever thanks but i guess u have to be up in some kind of clique or something to get help here because everytime i post something i get no help and i always tought that if an emergency would come up this was the place to go guess again

In response, a few suggestions...

1. Use punctuation! The use of punctuation would make your original post much easier to read, motivating people to completely read it and possibly offer some advice. Your first post is such a mess that I'm sure several people attempted to read it, gave up and hit the back button.

2. When describing an "emergency situation," give as much information as possible. Be REALLY descriptive. The more information you're able to give us, the better we'll be able to give you a diagnosis that might be close to accurate. With the lack of information, in your initial post, an accurate diagnosis would be very difficult, even if someone were to take the time to completely read it.

3. Coming back and basically insulting R2R members, probably won't get your the results you desire. The lack of a response, to your original post, could be due to several reasons (see 1&2 above), including the fact that your emergency was brought to our attention on a holiday, when many members weren't online. Just because a post doesn't get responded to, immediately, doesn't mean that R2R members behave like Jr. High students, only answering those who belong to your supposed clique.

4. While waiting for a response, to an emergency situation, in the future, I would suggest doing as much research as possible. A quick search of R2R or Google, using the keywords "Bloated Tang" would have yielded tons of useful information, immediately.

Yeah I mean, Sid pretty much covered it... I was able to get lots of help on here and actually got my tang back healthy from lle. I dunno the op is talking about....

You know you posted at 10pm asking for help, and unfortunately the next day the fish had passed.

What kind of miracle help did you think you could get for a fish that was already showing physical abnormality and behavior changes?

It's a terrible loss, especially for a fish that you kept healthy for so long.

But if the fish was healthy in your tank for the past 3 years, then whatever killed the fish was pretty major, and if you kept your tank in good health, it was clearly something out of your control. There was nothing you could do to alter the situation at the point it came to your attention. And I don't think there is any advice or insight that would have changed the outcome by the following morning.

Sorry for your loss, but I really don't think anyone could have helped.

Actually, while the OP didn't give us a lot of information, that bit of information probably wouldn't have really done any good...

I posted an emergency please help post about my tank overheating at 7:10pm tonight and got several post with helpful information, the first was at 7:13!!! I am very new to this forum and can promise you I am not a part of any clique. Nothing but love for R2R so far.

Okay, let's let the OP grieve the loss of his fish, in peace. I may have been a bit harsh, in my response, which I apologize for. However, please take what I said as advise, in case you run into a future problem. R2R and the majority of our members are very helpful, when they're able.

One more suggestion...if it's an emergency situation, title your thread differently. Don't be afraid to put "HELP!" or "EMERGENCY" in your title. It might make your title stand out, getting you help, sooner.
