Hi everyone its been a while since I last on but this time its an emergency. I woke this morning to a wet carpet and found out its coming from my tank an old fluval m90. It wasn't bashed or moved I just don't get it. Alot is coming out so I dont know how much time is left before it goes competely. I have seen this Fluval Roma 125 80cm Grey Oak Aquarium & Cabinet - 125L which is slightly smaller and a tropical tank. Could I use everything from my reef tank and put it in but buy an external filter or would I have to convert it fully. I can use my old sand rocks and coraline algae scraping to seed the new tank. I cant justify paying over a grand when Im in a process of getting a mortgage. What a **** year so far.

I think the main priority right now is to empty the leaking tank. Anything will do. Brute can, totes, buckets, anything. Throw in some rocks, a pump and a heater. Then you can plan your next move.

I would do what ever I could to get the water and livestock out of that tank. I don't know where you live, But tractor supply has 100 gallon stock tank (plastic) relatively cheap, can easily be drilled and still use your sump even with the stock tank sitting on the floor, can work until you get something set up.

Update I found exactly were the leaks were. They were in the rear chambers, looks like sand got behind the sealant and water was pouring out.

This is my new tank now a fluval 125, probably going to through a cycle.
