Also(not that Im completely and totally paranoid from getting bad water from an lfs because I have and I am) get the cheap tds meter and test the rodi.

No temp swings and trying to get the salinity down now the water from my LFS is at 1.025
TDS. total dissolved solids.
where I live they use chloramines(bleach basicly) is the rodi filter is bad, some slips through. not every where has chloramines though.

Correct. But all have dissolved solids in the table. I.e. Phosphate to counteract corrosion within the pumping system and pipe.
