my fuge and algae reactor seem to grow long green/brown algae on the cheto? Any clue on why or what to do ? It’s a mess. Lol

In my experience yes. When I had them pre buying my big UV sterilizer my fuge was full of the brown snot like ones. I cleaned my fuge, tossed everything in that section out, installed my 80 watt UV, tossed in some new Cheato and knock on wood never had them again.
