Window shopping for my new 90 w/30 sump. I'm looking up info on this beauty and I'm confused. Liveaquaria says the temperment is peaceful, needs 125 gallons, and is not reef compatible. Bluezooaquatics says peaceful, 75 gallons, and reef compatible with caution. Then there is Saltwaterfish. They say it is of bold temperment, 55 gallons, and not reef safe.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
Patty

There are 2 very similar species. Heniochus acuminatus and H. diphreutes. H.diphreutes is mostly reef safe, acuminatus, less so. Both are peaceful and bold. 90g is an appropriately sized tank.

Thanks to you both for your quick replies.

That's good to know and something I will definitely check out. I hadn't seen the separation mentioned anywhere as of yet. Cheers!
