I currently have a small tidepool themed tank with red hairy hermit crabs. I was thinking of adding mosquitofish that I've acclimated to saltwater. Would the crabs be safe if I did this? Less concerned about the fish than the crabs

My semi educated guess is that the crabs will be fine. I can't see a mosquitofish eating, or trying to eat, a hermit crab. I guess if you had HUGE mosquitofish and tiny crabs MAYBE but I think it is unlikely

I've heard that mosquitofish are fin nippers and I was wondering if they'd go after the crabs at all
