Hermit crabs

So I need to get some shells for my crabs which ones can I and can't I use

Do not get ones that have been painted. You can sometimes find decent un-painted ones at petcos or petsmarts in their hermit crab sections.

Most fish stores carry them but can also order online liveaquaria has them reef cleaners and many more

check hobby lobby as well they have unpainted shells too

OK my wife has a few she got from the craft store unpainted those are ok correct? As long as there not painted

Yup they should be fine. Definitely give them a rinse in cold water to get off any dust.
