Hermit escaped into tank

I have two small <0.5" hermits. I kept them in a cage made of needle point mesh but one night I forgot to reseal the cage after feeding time and one escaped. Any good way to catch him? Mostly concerned with it harassing my snails. Although he's small enough so maybe it won't be a big deal and I can just wait for him to accidentally be out in the open?

Was the screen setup in the tank?

You will have to monitor closely to try to just find it, or try to put some good scrap in a corner to try to flesh it out.
