Hermit shells?

Hey all what's a good brand of hermit crab shells to get? saw one of my crabs molted and was wondering where I could get some shells so it doesn't kill the other one which is bigger. Saw PetSmart sells some top fin bag of shells but not sure if they're safe or not just wanted to know.

Are there no suitable dead shells available on local beaches, in rockpools etc?

Are there no suitable dead shells available on local beaches, in rockpools etc?

I’m in anchorage ak so bit hard to get shells due to snow and ive never seen any in smh area without driving hours to homer

Sorry, yeah, makes sense. Hard for someone like me sitting in a hot climate with airconditioning to imagine

Lucky lol. We just just got a bunch of snow so trying not to go outside much. Would be nice if I could find shells easily but my real only option is stored like petco, petsmart etc and my lfs
