Hey All - is this snail/hermit crab poop? LOL

Hey all!

Silly question but, there’s this stuff all over the bottom of our tank, on the sand. I brought a sand vacuum but just wondering is it from the snails/crabs? We only have 2 clownfish (in feeding them several times a day but small amounts) and now that they’ve settled I never see them poop (first few days they had white poop). Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Side note we do not have our wavemakers setup yet - so if that’s why, they will be set up this week (I bought Nero’s but I have the Hydros controls and Nero doesn’t allow connectivity so want to return them)

Probably poop. It also seems to be building up in a low current area so it's probably poop or food leftovers.

Probably is poop. Leave it. It has gut bacteria in that needs to spread. Eventually you will get more things that will consume that stuff almost as quickly as it is available.
