I also have a quick question...what is the best way to go as in a heater...I haven't found anything for a 29g so not sure the watt i should get....don't want to over do it or under do it :)

It's probably slightly overkill, but I have a 100 W in my JBJ28. Consistency is what's important....with all parameters.

Try to avoid glass ones. Look at the aqueon pro 100 watt. That is what I would highly recommend.

Now's a good time to bring up the fact that you'll get differing opinions on how to do it "right." I only use glass, and my preference are Eheim Jager heaters...they have very thick glass. The only issue with them is that they are long.

*Welcome to Reef2Reef!* Marine animals prefer stable temperatures,so you may want to go with a 150 watt heater for your bio cube. You may be able to get away with a smaller heater if your tank runs hot during the day. I had a cube years ago that was always too warm, I never used a heater for it as well.Either way check the temperature day and night for large fluctuations, especially during extreme weather.
